I had fun. Nizam was such a great tour guide. He’s knowledgeable and very funny. You’ll not feel bored. I’ll definitely recommend taking this tour.
A good trip to Ephesus, but could've been better.

Pros:

1. Pickup in Izmir was on time and from a spot close to the hotel (since the hotel itself was inaccessible for vehicles).
2. The guide (Mr Nizam) was informative, witty and very engaging. He joined the trip from Selcuk and made the trip interesting and entertaining.
3. The group was small and comprised of about 10 members, which was excellent.
4. Vehicle was comfortable and in good condition. The driver was also good.

Cons:

1. Time actually spent at the ruins of Ephesus was only around 1.5 hrs. A visit to the Terrace Houses was discouraged. We had flown into Izmir for just one day with the sole purpose of visiting the ruins of Ephesus, hence were a little disappointed.
2. Too much time was dedicated to a carpet factory/ sales outlet, wine store in Sirince and a store selling Turkish delights, olive oil, tea, etc. We would have preferred spending more time viewing archeological ruins for that's what we'd gone for. Had we skipped the shopping stops and returned to Izmir earlier we could even have visited the site of Smyrna.
